1. Overview
This page explains how users of the SpendRoast Android app, developed by GN Infotech, can delete their data.
SpendRoast does not require an account and does not store your financial data on any server. All app data, including transactions, accounts, budgets, goals, challenges and roast history, is stored only on your device. You can delete it at any time, directly in the app, with immediate effect.
2. Delete all data in the app
- Open SpendRoast.
- Go to Settings → Privacy & data.
- Tap Delete all data.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Deletion takes effect immediately and is permanent. Because we do not hold a copy of your data, it cannot be recovered afterwards. To keep a copy, use Export on the same screen before deleting.
3. Uninstall the app
Uninstalling SpendRoast removes all of its data from your device. SpendRoast data is excluded from Android cloud backups, so it is not restored if you reinstall the app.
4. Delete specific records
You can also delete individual items without erasing everything:
- Transactions: open the transaction and tap Delete.
- Accounts, budgets, savings goals and challenges: open the item and select Delete or Remove.
- Exported CSV files: these are stored wherever you saved them and are not managed by the app. Delete them using your device's file manager.

6. What is retained
GN Infotech does not receive or retain any of your financial data, transactions or SMS messages, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
If you contact us by email, we keep that correspondence only for as long as needed to handle your request, and then delete it.
7. Data held by Google
Some data is processed by Google under its own policies and is managed through your Google account:
- Advertising (free plan): you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings and manage ad personalisation at My Ad Center. In the EEA and UK, you can also change your consent in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- Purchases: SpendRoast Pro purchase records are kept by Google Play. Cancelling a subscription does not delete them.
